I have a sick desire to fill my life far beyond what I can handle and stress myself to the point of tears so here I go again into another full semester with 19 credits that have been haunting me for the past 3 weeks. 19 credits of difficult classes, preparing for graduation, finding professors to write letters of recommendation, taking the GRE, applying to the Nutrition program all while trying my hardest to be a worthy mother and wife of my sweet Chase and Daniel. So in reference to this blog "If you don't expect too much from me, you might not be let down." Even when I find the time to update it I'm sure our lives won't be filled with much excitement (unless your nerds like us and enjoy sometimes meaningless information).

However I do want you all to know about my great husband who has given up his dream of having a Ph.D. and has sacrificed saving for a house, and has sacrificed a nice 8-5 work week to help me fulfill my dreams. Daniel has encouraged me to chase any and all the dreams I have had since we have gotten married and has bent over backwards to help me get moving.

....and then there is my mom who drove 4 hours every other week (at 4 in the morning mind you) for one day of watching Chase while I was in school all day over the summer and drove 4 hours back home the same night most of the time all so Daniel could squeeze in extra hours at work.

....and then there is my dad who sacrificed having my mom at home for those days and suffered through wanting to be here with Chase himself but having to be at work..... and then my little Chase puts up with me studying instead of always playing with him which is what I would rather do anyways.

I don't know why, but I have been so blessed... beyond what I deserve.

He did it!

Better late than never... Chase finally cut his first tooth. I was wondering if he would be toothless forever (good thing he is so cute with no teeth- but I can't wait to see what he looks like with a little tooth or two.)
Thats all.

Summer vacation

With only a couple weeks left of summer we went on the only vacation we could afford- to the cabin. We were pretty much alone and did pretty much whatever we wanted. We built campfires, went on a four-wheeler ride, hiked, read, slept, fished and played with Chase.

Fishing

There isn't much to say - the fishing trip was just a fishing trip- lots of fun but nothing to really tell, so enjoy the pics.

Lyman

Then we headed to Lyman for the fair weekend. Alynn talked Daniel into running the 5k run even though he hasn't trained since our run 1 month ago- he ran it in the same time regardless.

Then there was the parade. Chase wasn't interested until they started throwig necklaces. He played with this necklace for the whole weekend.Chase loved spending time outside playing with Grandpa T. and the other kids. He doesn't look too thrilled here but he was having fun chasing the kids on bikes.

This was a big weekend for Chase. He learned how to climb stairs and couldn't get enough of it, then he learned how to crawl without hurting his knees on the cement and rocks,
and finally... he found this walker and knew exactly what to do with it. He climbed right up to it and started walking around the room-I've said it before but this kid is growing up way too fast.

Pictures

and finally... just some random pictures I took while playing with my camera.

Here is our trip to the zoo. Daniels work gave us tickets and lunch so we went and enjoyed. It was so hot that we had to leave early to get Chase cooled down.
