You should watch this!

There are times when I really wish that I had the talent of writing better, and right now is one of those times. Please excuse my horrible way of putting the words together and look for the important message in them.

I am so proud of my dad- he's doing what many of us don't do- standing up for what he believes in. My dad loves the outdoors and in particular motorcycles. He loves taking us (his family) out riding to places that a lot of people never get to see and we love to go.

It is so unfortunate that there are people out there who want to see the land closed to people who just want to enjoy and experience the beautiful land that God created for us. There are many places that my dad has taken us in the past that have been closed down and now Daniel and I will not be able to share those places with our kids.

My dad is part of a group called Ride with Respect- that focuses on working to keep the lands open by maintaining trails and informing people. They understand that if we abuse the land by going off trails and destroying the land, that it will be closed for all of us, and they work to make sure others understand that as well. They stand for respecting the land while still using it.

My dad and a couple of his friends have worked hard for 6 months to make this breakthrough. They stood up for what they believed and caught Governor Huntsman's attention, so much that he came to Moab and went riding with my dad and friends.
