This kid is a hoot. He can throw the best tantrum I've ever seen a 2 year old through, and he's very stubborn sometimes. He never forgets things. If he goes to bed wanting to "hold the yellow hose", that's usually the first thing I hear out of his mouth in the morning. He is almost potty trained (still working on night time). He has at least triple the energy that I have, I can NEVER keep up with him. He loves to color and has already colored our desk, computer, mouse, and calculator with a sharpie. He LOVES, no, is OBSESSED, with hoses and more particularly vacuum hoses and even more particularly Dyson vacuum hoses. If he wants to watch Winnie the Pooh, he asks to watch " Winnie and Pooh, and Kanga, and piglet, and Gopher.... and Rabbit...... and roo.... and Chrismas Robin.... etc." Or for Toy story, "Woody, an Buzz, an Jessie, an slincky dog hose, and tomato head... etc."
He loves Racing cars. Daniel's work sponsored a race car at Rocky Mountain Raceway and so we have gotten free tickets a couple times. It hurts my ears to go, but he doesn't mind the noise at all. He knows all the letters and what sounds they make. If there is something on the T.V. that he likes, he asks to hold it. He doesn't understand that it's not really there. He loves arrows, we always have to stomp on them (painted in the road). He loves train tracks and especially when we can drive across them. He still loves cycles, but I think hoses are higher up on the list right now.
He has become a curious little boy. He already bombards us with questions, "moma are you doing that the shoes? Are you riding the cycle?, Are you doing this? Are you doing that?"
A couple funny stories.
- A couple months ago we were visiting Moab and Chase's favorite French "Aunt" was on skype. He was so excited to talk to her on the computer, but it wasn't long before he wanted her to come jump on the tramp with him. He was getting very frustrated that she wouldn't jump with him and didn't understand that she was really there.
- We were in Moab at church one Sunday and he was standing on the seat facing backwards and watching the deacons passing the sacrament. Suddenly he shouts out, "LOOK! They're peeing!" I was too humiliated to look back and see what he was talking about, but when my mom looked back the deacons were all standing in a row with their hands in front of their groins.

Ok, the deacons. They were holding the sacrament trays with both hands like deacons do, but their backs were to us, so you can imagine what that looked like to a little boy :) That was not a reverent sacrament for us, we were laughing too hard :)
He's one of the funniest boys I know. There is NEVER a dull moment when Chase is around :)
