What a sad face huh?
Chase has many favorite things: warm milk, binkies are high on his list, clean diapers, his exersaucer, wet wipe warmer and more warm milk. Some things around our house fall into the not so favorite things list and at the top of that list falls the vacuum. Chase hates the vacuum no matter what we do. We have tried easing him into it, holding him while vacuuming for comforting, having one of us hold him in the other room and have the door closed and he can still hear it. This is so traumatic that the only way to calm him down is to comfort him as he cries himself to sleep. And I was told that the sound of vacuums is suppose to comfort babies. Does this mean I don't have to vacuum anymore?

I have to put Lyndsee in the other room for the opposite reason, she loves the vaccum! Whenever it is out she has to crawl over to it or wants to "help" me vaccum. It gets pretty difficult but maybe I will just teach her young how to vaccum and she can do it for me! I like that idea! Chase is such a cutie, crying or not!
Kyle was terrified of vacuums and he turned out O.K. It does give you an excuse to not vacuume - or to give Daniel and Chase some "quality outside time" while you vacuum
That is so cute! I say yeah, if your baby doesn't want you to vacuum then that is a pretty good reason not too do it! Vacuuming is overrated anyway (unlass you have a dog, then it's neccessary).
Sydne hated the vacuum too. I had to wait for Sheldon to get home before I could vacuum so that they could go outside. I admit, sometimes I would use it as an excuse to not vacuum, so i think you should to!
