I married a farm boy.

I felt a little like the pioneer woman this weekend, but couldn't pass up the chance to catch on film what I imagine Daniels childhood was filled with. (Even though I created more work for Daniel and got Preston out of some chores :)
This is Daniel dreaming on a riding lawn mower, something his dad bought when all the help left the house. Here they are doing ...something .... to these cows that you don't want to know about, but they didn't even hurt the cows. They just sat calmly on the ground after Daniel wrestled them down. That is my birthday cake. It is supposed to be the shape of a palm tree, not a troll's head.

And this is my poor sick little baby. We didn't go down to Lyman as early as we planned on because I was throwing up all morning on Friday, and by Sunday Chase had caught the bug. He was throwing up, running a fever, sneezing, and the runniest nose that is now bright red and so sore. He couldn't sleep last night, but is having so much fun this morning that if I couldn't hear his stuffy nose every breath I might not know he was sick.

That picture of Daniel on the lawn mower is so cute! What a funny guy you married! Happy Birthday yesterday by the way, I was going to call you but I was sleeping most of the day and forgot. Anyway, I love you! Hope you had a good day!

By the way, Aiden took one look at those pictures and starting saying "Daniel, Daniel" over and over again, so you can tell Daniel that Aiden has finally learned his name and that he is actually seperate from Chase.

I didn't know Daniel was a farm boy. I bet your boy loves going to the farm. I know Katy does. She always wants to go and see the cows and turkeys with grandpa. We are lucky to live close enough so can go everyday.
