What a day.

Well I had a long post typed up about the insane week I had between a test, and two big research papers, but for your sake have deleted it all. We have been busy and probably will be for two more weeks so there won't be many posts in the next little while.
Today was finally a break from the chaos. We some old textbooks and used the money to buy MRE's and fix up our 72 hour kits and make one for Chase. We even ate an MRE for lunch to see what we are in for in an emergency and I think I will be starving! Then we headed to the park for some outdoor fun. Chase loved being outside and kept himself entertained while Daniel and I spent some time (3 hours) playing Frisbee and catch with a softball.

We headed home and played basketball until Chase had a blow out. At this point we found that we had locked ourselves out of our apartment, Chase was mad and hungry and had a more than full diaper.

The 30 min wait pretty much ruined the fun we had. Chase has now been knocked out cold for 3 hours and probably won't sleep tonight. Poor guy. We keep trying to remind him that he is the first and will have to suffer as we try to learn. Daniel is also now asleep on my shoulder and I think I might just join him :) Good night!

Wow, what a day is right! You're lucky you live in apartments and have someone else that has a kay to your house! Kenny locked himself, Aiden and Toby out of our house once and had to leave Aiden and Toby with a neighbor while her husband ran Kenny to my work to get my house key. What's important is that you got out and had a goo time right?

Good time. I meant good time.

No, I think what you had was a goo time. At least at the end there it sounds like. You guys sound like you have Dad and my luck with fun. We have fun so seldom, when we plan something fun to do, we cram so much in that we end up beating fun over the head until it isn't recognisable as fun anymore.
We've just labeld those "memorable experiences you can tell your grandchildren."

By the way, who put lipstick on baby Chase?
